Governor Brewer Gives Tepid Response To SB 1070; Sheriff Joe Making Noises That He'll Run For Governor (by Dave Levine)
At a news conference this afternoon, a weak looking and sounding Arizona Governor Jan Brewer danced around the question everyone wants to know--is she going to sign, veto or leave stand SB 1070? Her tepid response to reporters' questions leads me to believe she will either veto the bill or let it become law on its own Saturday at midnight Pacific Time. Either way, she loses her bid for re-election.
