Are Chicago's Blacks Asking The National Guard To Police The City? (my version of title by Phillip Sherwell at telegraph.co.uk)

Is this a tacit admission that cries of "racial profiling" by black and Latino activists that forced Mayor Emanuel to halt the stop-and-search tactics of the previous Chicago Administration were simply efforts to protect the beasts who prey on innocents in Chicago's streets?

Are ChiTown's blacks so desperate for law and order that they want the National Guard brought in? Wouldn't that bring the white leftist Occupy troublemakers in and give them someone to riot about?

Maybe some Chicago blacks have the right idea. However, I would think the first thing they'd want is to make Chicago--and Illinois--a carry state where citizens without criminal records can carry guns to protect themselves. The National Guard can't help citizens in their homes or even on the streets. They can't be everywhere at once.

And politically, it would be an embarrassing admission of failure my liberal pols like Mayor Emanuel which is why I doubt the Guard will ever be called to ChiTown.
