Kudos to Congresswoman Renee Ellmers (R-NC), Congressman Walter B. Jones (R-NC), Congressman Mike McIntyre (R-NC) and Congresswoman Sue Myrick (R-NC)! They are the Show's ***Patriots of the Week*** this week.

Unfortunately, Sen. Burr's bill doesn't go nearly far enough. Why isn't he simply calling for a repeal of the ITIN which is being used by 8 to 10 million illegal aliens working for a paycheck in our country? Is the Chamber of Horrors breathing down his neck?

If Senators and Congressmen are really serious about getting illegal aliens to go back to Mexico, they need to make it difficult-to-impossible for these lawbreakers to get jobs here!

One other thing Congress could do to stop ITINs used by illegal aliens--amend the E-verify law to give employers the option to check all current employees' immigration status. That would cause some of those 8 to 10 million illegals to leave their jobs and Americans the chance to take them. I believe employers could be coaxed into using E-verify on current employees if it was made legal. It's ridiculous to leave those 8 to 10 million illegals working for a paycheck alone with de facto Amnesty!
