A good piece and I mostly agree with Baldwin except for his continued lauding of gadfly Republican (he's really a Libertarian) Ron Paul as a Presidential candidate.

Baldwin writes,

Ron Paul is the only Presidential candidate (from the two major parties) since John F. Kennedy and Ronald Reagan who hasn’t been controlled by the globalist elite. Unfortunately, the Republican machine (with massive support from the national press corps) has made sure—often by unethical and illegal means, by the way—that Dr. Paul will not be the GOP nominee.

Baldwin fails to mention that Ron Paul is really a Libertarian in Republican clothing and belongs in The Libertarian Party, not in the GOP. But if he ran as a Libertarian candidate, he wouldn't win anything, right? How many times has RP run for President? Almost since I was a teenager--far too long.

Baldwin also fails to mention that both Romney and Ryan are, like Bush, pro-Amnesty.
