What an embarrassment for the GOP!

 

It's almost a certainty that Rep. Akin will be trounced by Sen. McCaskill. Polls had him 11 points over McCaskill last week before he opened his yap but now show the race essentially a tie. His refusal to bow out won't help him, but the GOP is more concerned about what it will mean in other races.

 

The Republican Party should have told Akin not to run and given money to a real Conservative, not one who voted for the unconstitutional NDAA and The Patriot Act. But because it's a RINO-run party, they couldn't do that, so now they're withdrawing all money from Akin in a desperate effort to look like they're doing the right thing.

 

They should have told Akin not to run from the outset. That was their big mistake.
