Senator Rand Paul Willing To Raise Debt Ceiling By $2.4 Trillion For A BBA (by Dave Levine)

"I remain committed to solving this debt crisis and again offer a compromise. I am willing to give the President what he wants - to raise the debt ceiling $2.4 trillion. But there must be a long-term fix to our debt problem in the form of a Balanced Budget Amendment."

I didn't make this up, folks! I'm dismayed that Sen. Paul is willing to compromise with the Devil on raising the debt ceiling for ANYTHING, even a Balance Budget Amendment which will be too late to save the nation. I thought he was for slashing spending and halting the growth of the Fed. Govt! If there's one thing that angers Tea Party voters and other Conservatives, its raising spending. No compromises!

We want to see 7 Federal departments closed or drastically reduced in size.

Even $500 billion per year would be nice to get to if we could. If would mean closing many Federal government bureaucracies like

Department of Education

Department of the Interior

Department of Energy

Department of Labor

Department of Health and Human Services

Department of Agriculture

Department of Housing and Urban Development

as well as a streamlining of the USCIS, like, getting rid of the EOIR!

Certain bureaucracies are going to have to be increased--like ICE and the Border Patrol. That is where it's needed most! The FBI probably needs greater funding, as well.

The Dave Levine Show is temporarily withdrawing its support for Senator Rand Paul until we've received word that Senator Paul is NOT for compromising with Soetoro-Obama on the Debt Ceiling.
