The Moderate Paradox (by Daniel Greenfield at sultanknish.blogspot.com)

Don Hank forwarded me this outstanding piece by Daniel Greenfield that I believe best sums up what has happened and is happening to Conservatives--or perhaps I should say "what Conservatives have ALLOWED to happen" by allowing the left to dictate or define what is "moderate" and what is "extreme".

Take for instance, the subject of "forced repatriation" which Greenfield doesn't mention--what to do with the criminal illegal aliens and criminal legal aliens whose countries like China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Cuba, India and Pakistan won't take back when the U.S. tries to deport them". I wrote about this yesterday at

On April 6, 2012, I posted the following

***********************************************************

We missed this story last year but it applies aptly to today as murderer-aliens are being released by ICE into U.S. society to do more harm thanks to a 2001 SCOTUS ruling--with former Justice Sandra Day O'Connor being the deciding vote in Zadvydas v. Davis, a decision that brought these bloodthirsty killers back onto our streets.

The ruling? The U.S. government has to release these killers and rapists and molesters back into our society if the criminals' home countries don't allow them to be repatriated within 6 months of their incarceration or within 6 months of their going thru the process of deportation (with a hearing, etc.).

For all you Reaganites, Justice O'Connor was Ronald Reagan's pride and joy. Yet, in her later years--especially after her husband died--she began ruling with the left. This was one of her worst and one of the Court's worst decisions.

***********************************************************

William LaJeunesse with Fox News reported yesterday that Congressman Ted Poe (R-TX) is trying to get around that Supreme Court decision with a bill that would remove diplomatic visas from foreign diplomats of a foreign country if that country was refusing to repatriate their criminal nationals at

However, the likelihood of this passing with the House controlled by RINOs and the Senate and White House controlled by the left is nil. The Democrats actually WANT criminal aliens on our streets and the RINOs don't care! Why? You'll have to ask them. Maybe it's because most live in gated, guarded communities unlike most of us.

Now, some Americans would call Rep. Poe's efforts "extreme" and many would probably call my plan ("The Parachute Option") "extreme" but they aren't! Other than putting these criminals to death (which by law we can't do unless they've been convicted of first-degree murder or a terrorist act), we have no other choice but to forceably repatriate them, in my opinion. What is "extreme" is allowing them back into our cities and towns to kill, rape and molest again! Our Federal Government MUST NOT release these thugs back into American society!

How does this tie in with what Greenfield writes? He's talking about how "moderates" and even Conservatives are moving left, how they've become "accepting" of "turning the other cheek" when it comes to crime and criminals, for instance. My contention is that "moderation" in this case is totally unacceptable.

Yet, "forced repatriation" is a perfect example of something that you would think ALL Americans would agree with--removing dangerous, vicious criminals from the homeland! But because Conservatives have been scared into non-enforcement, even supporting criminal actions (non-enforcement of the law is in itself a criminal act), we're facing criminals who've already committed crimes here and have been convicted of them and are threatening Americans yet again!

When American citizens who want to live safely and free in their country are branded as "extremists" by the media and by Open Borders (RINO) Republican politicians for wanting dangerous aliens (many of them illegal aliens to begin with) removed from the country, then we have indeed lost our nation.

The question IS, are we going to fight to get it back?
