I don't think there's any doubt about this. An excellent piece by Alan Caruba.

Romney wouldn't have a chance of being elected if Soetoro-Obama wasn't pulling the shenanigans he's pulled--EO Amnesty, telling ICE agents to release illegal aliens, pushing the unconstitutional Obamacare down Americans' throats, using thousands of miniature drone planes to spy on Americans and threatening to grab our guns. I mean, the list goes on and on and on!

Romney's choice for VP is all-important now. If he picks Rice or some other pro-Amnesty pol like Rubio who Conservatives cannot accept as the next in line as President, he may lose. If he "plays it safe" by picking a Conservative, he wins. He would be wise not to select a Bushie like Portman or anyone strongly tied to the G.W. Bush Administration as both the Dems and Conservatives would have difficulty getting behind such a ticket.

If he picks Sen. DeMint or Sen. Rand Paul, he wins. It's that simple.
