True Conservatives Still Have No Party To Turn To: Let's Get Behind Dr. Chuck Baldwin And Convince Him To Run Again! (by Dave Levine, special to The Dave Levine Show)

Sarah Palin was making commercials with McCain in Spanish on Spanish television in October 2008, pushing Amnesty for illegal aliens, trying to get Latino votes. In her October 22, 2008 interview with Univision, she said she was in favor of Amnesty and admitted she didn't know how many illegals were in Alaska (when the data was available that it was 40,000). She said, "There is no way that in the US we would roundup every illegal immigrant - there are about 12 million of the illegal immigrants - not only economically is that just an impossibility but that's not a humane way anyway to deal with the issue that we face with illegal immigration." Of course, she didn't say whether she thought the killing and murder of 25 Americans every day (nationwide) by illegal aliens was "humane", not to mention that our welfare to them is bankrupting California and other states! And she was misinformed about the number of illegals in the U.S. (I guess we should cut her some slack--she was only off by 20 million or more!). A story just came out a few days ago at Politico that in early October 2008, Palin was scheduled to do a joint interview on Univision (Spanish tv for illegals here in the U.S.) and it was cancelled because the McCain Campaign didn't feel she was ready or qualified. Here's what GOP Latino consultant Ana Navarro told Politico: "Palin was not ready to be president and was uninformed on Hispanic issues." Pretty damning statement from one of their own advisors, don't you think?

Globalist Gov. Perry of Texas is certainly no friend to the anti-Invasion movement and he's a major reason why the Border in Texas is wide open. He's jumped on the secession movement bandwagon in order to appear to be "conservative", but in my opinion he's anyting BUT! He was the instigator of that anti-America plan, the TTC, that would have torn the U.S. in half to facilitate Red Chinese goods coming into the U.S. to avoid union trucking labor. He was on the pro-Amnesty side for some time and may still be. As I see it, he's basically "a continuation of G.W. Bush".

Lou Dobbs (who is considering a Presidential bid) came out in favor of Amnesty this week in an interview with Spanish television. This was a blow to many who heard he may be running for President and were throwing in behind him. ALIPAC--the anti-Invasion activist org--apparently got behind him and immediately raised over $600,000 for his campaign should he decide to run. Now they have egg on their faces. Without his core of anti-Invasion conservatives, Dobbs is finished before he's announced that he will run. Perhaps he'd beat Sen. Menendez in New Jersey, but I doubt he can even do that without core conservative support. Many Americans don't know this, but Dobbs is not a conservative--far from it. It's sad, really, because Dobbs was also the man who almost singlehandedly stopped the Dubai Ports Deal from consumating. He is clearly anti-globalist, so he has some good qualities...but that just ain't gonna cut it for true blue conservatives. Plus, Dobbs always seems to equate "the left with the right" as if they are somehow "moral equivalents". I don't know about you, but I don't like having cop killer-bomber-Communist William Ayres and Lawrence Auster (one of the great traditionalist conservative writers and thinkers today at amnation.com/vfr) considered "equals" by my President!

If you discount Palin, Perry and Dobbs, there still isn't a party or a candidate that represents true conservatives or what the People want--no Amnesty, the fence being completed and an end to the Invasion from Mexico and jobs for Americans again. Included in that may well be a moratorium for legal immigration which I devoted another blog post here to the other day. Maybe there will never be one--a true conservative party. Last year's Constitution Party Nominee, Dr. Chuck Baldwin, was the only true conservative I've seen running since Pat Buchanan ran in 1996 and Dr. Baldwin is more conservative that Pat. Dr. Baldwin would be my choice if he decides to run again (Some will say Tom Tancredo was a true conservative, but if he was, he isn't anymore. He's a Libertarian now re: legalizing illicit drugs). I don't think there's a better candidate on the issues than Chuck Baldwin. His legs may not be as attractive as Palin's but his policies most certainly are! Just remember, folks--policy over party and cast aside your "lesser of two evils" brain lock. Electing another RINO to The White House, even if she's "conservative" on a few issues, isn't going to get the job done. By the way, I'm still trying to find out if Palin is a CFR member...We never stop investigating at The Dave Levine Show!
